Dining Room

The dining room over looks the fields and hills to the front of the property. Breakfast is served between the hours of 8.00 and 9.30 AM, and at other times by prior arrangement.

Tables to suit two people are provided but these can be put together for groups/families.

A full English breakfast is offered using local produce where possible, with vegetarian options.

Guest's Sitting Room

There is also a guest’s sitting room with similar views as the dining room. Seating includes a sofa and two arm chair, as well a television, DVD player, FM radio and CD player. Books and leaflets on walks, fishing and other attractions nearby are also provided.

These rooms are accessible by wheelchair, although assistance may by required. This will gladly be provided by the proprietors.

Garden

The property has an enclosed garden to the rear with patio furniture for guests. This area is also accessible by wheelchair.

Barelycorn House is a family-run bed and breakfast located in Shillingford. The B&B is rated 4 stars by the tourist board.

Shillingford is in the beautiful Exe Valley, just to the south of Exmoor and the north coast of Devon and Somerset.

The area is ideal for outdoor activities including walking, horse riding and angling, as well as visiting the picturesque villages and towns in the surrounding countryside.

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome.
