Reservations and Booking Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS

A reservation for a room can be made by telephone or e-mail. However, before booking by e-mail you are advised to check room availability by telephone. We will require your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address if you have one at time of booking.

Having made a reservation a booking form will be sent to you by e-mail or by post if you do not have an e-mail address. Completing and returning this form on line or by post confirms your booking.

PAYMENT

A 25% deposit of the full cost is normally required at the time of making a reservation. This can be by cheque, cash or paid directly into our bank account, details of which can be provided on request.

The remaining 75% must be paid before your departure, if not already paid, and can be paid in cash or by cheque with a valid cheque guarantee card. A payment directly into our account can be made but this must be paid into our account 7 days in advance of the commencement of your stay and receipt of payment confirmed by us. Where an e-mail address is available we will acknowledge receipt by this method otherwise by post.

All payments are to be made in pounds sterling (GBP £) unless otherwise agreed.

DEPOSIT

The deposit, once paid, is returnable should you cancel your visit 10 days or more before the commencement of your stay. 

If a cancellation is made less then 10 days prior to your stay, the deposit will not be returned unless there is a good reason for the cancellation e.g. a medical reason or death in the family.

If the accommodation can be re-let for all or most of your stay we will return your deposit.

Failure to arrive, means the total amount of your booked stay becomes payable.
